Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using services provided by Opus Labs LLC ("Opus Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), including TextChain and any related websites or applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

Description of Services

Opus Labs provides software products including TextChain, an SMS-based group messaging platform. Our services allow users to create and manage groups, send and receive messages, and communicate with group members via SMS.

Account Registration

To use certain features of our services, you must provide a valid phone number for authentication. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk commercial communications
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others
  • Transmit illegal, harmful, or objectionable content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Engage in any activity that could damage our reputation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

SMS Communications

By using TextChain, you consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number you provide. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You can opt out of any group by texting STOP to the group's phone number.

You are responsible for all messages you send through our platform and must comply with all applicable laws regarding electronic communications, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Payment Terms

Certain features of our services may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion

Intellectual Property

Our services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Opus Labs LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit through our services, but grant us a license to use, store, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPUS LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Opus Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Changes to Terms
